As you know, I focus on food photography here on this blog and not much else. The reality is that if you want to do food photography for a living, you will have to get comfortable photographing other things, like people.
Portraiture is an entirely different world than our non-moving food world. Most times, you will not be using a tripod and you are fluidly moving around to catch that awesome moment on camera. It’s challenging.
Now, if you’re just starting out, don’t panic, just know that this is something to consider down the road in your photography journey.
I will be writing some posts coming up about portrait photography. If you want to take pictures for restaurants, you will be asked to photograph some chefs. This is completely different from food photography.
So this is a fun assessment that my friends put together for us. It’s the Quick Win Photography Assessment.
Why is it called Quick Win? After you go through the assessment, you will immediately get a custom tutorial video that you can try right away. Keep in mind this is portrait based, but it’s still crucial photography information that you will need.
I took the assessment as well. It really makes you think about what areas you are stuck or want to improve with your photography.
This is important for everyone to do a few times a year. Really look at what you are stuck on right now.
So take this FREE Quick Win Photography Assessment today and tell me the results you got in the comments below!
I’d love to hear about it.
