This is the blog for MDR Photography Classes. We have several food photography classes throughout the year. All our classes are specifically designed for food bloggers, chefs and other culinary professionals.
Natural Light Food Photography Class
The first class that everyone should take is the Natural Light Food Photography Class. This class starts you with the basics. We will go over F-Stops, shutter speeds and ISO and how they all work together, the most important camera settings, basic lighting set ups for natural light, using food as props and much much more. Every student will take their own shot in the afternoon with the help of Christina and either a prop or food stylist who is teaching the class with Christina.

The second class to take is the Studio Light Food Photography Class. This class is for those who are tired of chasing the sun or tired of rushing home to get their blog post done before the sun sets. In this class you will learn how to work with tungsten lights to create your food shots. We will go over the important camera settings for shooting under tungsten lights. How to work with food under tungsten lights and so much more!

Food Styling and Photo Techniques Class
The Food Styling and Photo Techniques Class is a two day intensive with day one focusing on food styling tips and trick and day two is essentially the Natural Light Food Photography class where you will learn all about how to shoot your food with natural light. You will put your styling skills to the test by styling and shooting your own food dish. This class is taught with Denise Vivaldo and is loads of fun with a ton of information.
